With a smile hidden under my beard I watched Mille Dørge set the "Open" sign out in front of Cafe Slowdown. All around us Musicon was humming with activity as the center of logistics for the imminent Roskilde Festival. Trucks with lumber, Trailers with... trailers. Hip (per) people driving and strolling along Rabalderstræde.
The long and the short of it all is that we became homeless and then un-homeless again. Our accommodations have changed, but we will continue doing the same thing. Making coffee- espresso based drinks, or filter coffee after request. Sparkly and delicious sodas, saft (cordial) from Bornholm, cola, hylderbrus (elder) and gingerale from Ørebæk. A chocolate or a piece of cake. All organic, all good.
We will be open throughout Roskilde Festival from the 27 of June to around the 9th or 10th of July. Opening hours are a bit up in the air at the moment. (If you are a barista and want a few working hours, give me a call or send an email to patrick@justcoffee.dk)
